And after the gala success, they got in terms of both revenue and popularity, the tech conglomerate is now considering to upgrade their flagship device even more, in the upcoming models. Maintaining the iteration, LG is now all set to unveil the next generation smartphone of this coveted series, LG G6. As per the speculations, the Korean tech giant is gearing up to launch the phone at the MWC 2017 which is going to be held from 27th February to 2nd March, 2017 in Barcelona.
So as the LG G6 release date is coming closer, the fans as well as the tech gurus are getting anxious about the probable features of this highly anticipated smartphone. Albeit the company has kept things under the wrap for obvious reasons, our sources and many leaksters over the internet have given some hints about what should we expect from this technological beast.
A couple of months before it was rumored that the LG G6 is going to feature the curved OLED screen, a much-needed move to stay in the rivalry with Samsung. But according to the latest report published in the Korean news outlet ChosunBiz, LG has apparently dropped the plan due to supply and cost issues. So now the question arises what new the company is going to offer to its users in the upcoming flagship smartphone?
Well if we believe the rumors, LG is apparently thinking to include the 4K display in the G6. The Korean company has already done wonders with its 4K-enabled television sets. And now it is time to adopt the same technology for the smartphones. The handset will likely to sport a 5.3-inch or bigger screen with 4K display & a resolution of 4096 X 2160 pixels. If LG really include the 4K display in the G6, that surely would be the most unique selling point of the phone and will also help the company to provide a massive edge over its most of the rivals.
